Remember Norman Vincent Peale? The guy who wrote the inspirational best-seller, “The Power of Positive Thinking”, and the 45 other books focused on his faith and the role positive thinking has in improving lives? Well, in 1945, in his spare time, he also started Guideposts and I remember waiting in my dentist’s office as a kid and reading his never-ending supply of those magazines, enjoying the stories. Now a huge non-profit, their annual meeting brought them here to The Marriot at Seattle’s Waterfront for 3 days of operational updates, mtgs, awards, and a special guest speaker – sweet talking, sensible, funny and compassionate radio host, Delilah. Red Fish Blue Fish was there to capture it all and I was pleased and excited to meet and work with the Guideposts staff each day and learn more about their earnest mission.
