It was a party to remember. Rick and Lisa, their families and close, loving friends, many of whom traveled from the far reaches of this planet, wouldn’t have it any other way. One, an Italian winemaker, brought a few signature cases to cheer it on and conspiring to make it so, our usual cool, late spring turned clear and balmy.
Kudos to Katy from VOWS Wedding and Event Planning who planned and managed all the bits and pieces of this huge, incredible event. How huge? How about draining the 100 foot pool, scaffolding a floor and setting a gigantic tent over it? And how about everything else that goes into turning somebody’s yard into and elegant, wondrous event site! Aria Style was there as well, doing what they do best. Like what? The gorgeous tent with dramatic overhead draping, pole covers and hanging lanterns, that’s what! And they didn’t stop there. They accented with beautifully draped tables, motives and of course, the amazing flower arrangements (isn’t the touch of peacock fabulous?). And the food… Tom Douglas Catering served a scrumptious multi-course, Italian style meal complete with a lobster appetizer and entree of lamb chops. Hungry for more? How about gelato cart, espresso station and wine bar! And don’t forget the eye-popping, delectable cake from Starry Nights. As for Red Fish Blue Fish? The Altig’s usual family photographer shot the event and served up its own hit of the party in the garden during cocktail time – Studio-on-the-Go!

Congratulations! Such gorgeous pictures. Thanks so much. Love, Goddess
