What great fun to get a call from Angela King of Q13 Fox News last week! She’s preparing a story on environmentally-friendly services for weddings and wanted to come to the studio to interview us. Scott and I were only too happy to tell her about our unique “Very Green Wedding” package with the carbon offset from Terrapass which we offered for the first time in early 2008. We were inspired by Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” in 2007 and our uber-eco-conscious friends, Diedrich and Daniella (Diedrich is a research scientist who plans to apply his smarts to “cradle-to-cradle” endeavors and Daniella is getting a Masters from Cambridge in Humane Education). The fact that it also happens to be easier on the wedding-planning pocketbook makes it a popular service in these tough economic times. In spite of the initial jitters, Angela King and cameraman Marc LeCuyer, made it easy for us to share our inspiration and our growing eco-conscious choices and lifestyle.
